FAQ

Answers to the most common questions before your first appointment.

Frequently Asked
Do I need an appointment?

Yes. We buy by private appointment only — no walk-in sales floor. It keeps things discreet and unhurried.

Can I text photos first?

Absolutely. Text photos of your items and we'll give you a preliminary range before you come in.

How do I know I'm getting a fair price?

We test every item with an XRF analyzer right in front of you and weigh it on a calibrated scale you can watch. Offers are tied to the live market price at refinery-direct rates — no guesswork and no hidden margins.

Why can you pay more than other buyers?

Most buyers resell your gold to a wholesaler, who resells it to a refinery. Each step takes a percentage of your payout. We sell directly to the refinery, so those middleman cuts go to you instead.

Do I need to bring ID?

Yes. California law requires a valid photo ID for precious-metals purchases. It's a sign we operate as a fully licensed, legitimate buyer.

What if I don't accept the offer?

No pressure and no obligation. If the offer isn't right for you, your items are handed straight back and nothing changes.

Do you buy broken jewelry, single earrings, or dental gold?

Yes. Condition doesn't matter — the value is in the metal. Broken chains, single earrings, bent rings, and dental gold are all welcome.

How do I get paid?

When you accept an offer, you're paid the same day by cash or check at your appointment.

What should I bring?

Your items and a valid government-issued photo ID. We handle all testing equipment on our end. You don't need to bring anything else.

Where do we meet?

A private local location in North County San Diego, confirmed when you book. Not a storefront, just a discreet, appointment-only meeting.

Any obligation to sell?

None. You can decline the offer after testing. We'll still share the full results so you know exactly what you have.

How fast do you respond?

Typically within a few hours during the day. Texting photos is the fastest way to get a preliminary read.
